Garth Barns Yoga & Book Club Retreat
Set amongst the rolling hills of rural Wales, Garth Barns is the perfect spot to rest and reconnect with nature. The two large barn conversions that house the Yoga Shala and all of the accommodation are heated from renewable biomass and the drinking water is from the farm’s own pure spring water source. The venue is set within 200 acres of farmland offering beautiful walks in the hills and valleys right on the doorstep. And with a cold water pond for wild swimming, a gym and a Finnish sauna there is plenty to do when you are not on the yoga mat.
What to expect
Yoga sessions in the morning and evening will consist of asana, pranayama, yoga nidra and relaxation. The yoga sessions invite you to a place of deep physical, personal and spiritual connection where body and mind are rewired back into synchronicity and harmony. In addition there will be a literary element to this yoga retreat. Yogastarr invites you to read a specific book in advance (the book will be sent to you) and join in some book club discussions. The book club is a great way to stimulate conversations and create connections. As the latest technologies govern our daily lives, meeting new people and making real connections seems to happen less often. And isn’t that what life is all about – connections, conversations and joy. Yogastarr retreats are usually filled with emotions and encouragement, giggles and laughter as we witness growing awareness and new friendships being born.
Meals & sustenance
Our meals will be cooked by the lovely Vegan chef Kirsten from eatnourishgo.co.uk. A qualified retreat chef with a passion for plant-based foods, she lovingly prepares delicious and nutritious, seasonal dishes for every guest. Brunches and dinners will be served along with snacks, fruit and plenty of yogi tea!

There are twins, triples and double rooms available and all except one room are ensuite.
Triple shared bathroom – £450 there is only one room available like this
Twin/triple ensuite – £575 per person – suitable for friends or family sharing
Double ensuite single occupancy – £695 – suitable for those wanting some space and time for themselves
